  • Authored the “Seniors Charter” which was passed by the House of Commons in June 2006
  • Nominated for Hamilton’s Woman of Distinction Award in March 2007
  • Consumers Association of Canada endorsed Chris’ Bill to end gas price gouging in April 2007
  • Tabled a motion for comprehensive Employment Insurance reform that was passed by Parliament
